Imperial Farm, UK is pleased to present the following selection of bloodlines as a sire and dam list. All the pedigrees contain real and model horses. Although primarily known for our purebred Arabians, we also have a selection of other breeds available.

Guidelines

1.    Stallions

The stallions are available at public stud to model mares, except where stated. They are also available to sire foals out of my mares. They are not normally available to sire foals out of real mares although I am happy to evaluate individual requests so please email me with all the details.

2.    Mares

My mares may only produce one foal per year. In general terms, my preference is that the mares on this list will produce foals by my own stallions. However I am happy to evaluate individual requests so please email me with all the details.

3.    Ageing System

All my models are ageing. Therefore, they may only be used as parents for models which also follow the ageing system, i.e. they are assigned a year of foaling and grow older each year thereafter.

4.    Overseas Foals

My stallions are available to sire horses foaled overseas by means of AI (chilled or frozen semen).

5.    Colour Inheritance

Some rules on colour genetics need to be noted. For example, keep in mind that two chestnuts will always make a chestnut. Note also that a palomino is not a registered Arabian colour and I cannot accept them as a purebred. I also like to have one parent the same colour as the foal.

6.    Age of Parents and Inbreeding

My stallions will not be bred until they are three years of age so any foal must be at least four years younger than the stallion. My mares will not be bred until they are four years of age so any offspring must be five years younger than the mare. I do not allow mother/son or father/daughter breedings.

7.    Details Required

With every breeding request, I require the following information please to complete the breeding certificates – foal's name, year foaled, gender, breed, colour, make/mold, owner and/or stud name. If you are using an outside animal (mare for example), I will require a full generation pedigree please.

8.    Please do not use my stallions or mares without my permission.

9.    Information You Will Receive

All my stallions have a detailed “Stallion Profile” which includes a colour picture and a 5 generation pedigree. All my mares have a detailed “Mare Profile” which includes a colour picture and a 5 generation pedigree. All approved breedings will receive a comprehensive “Breeding Certificate”. I send everything by email. If you would like information sent by snail mail, please contact me as postage fees may apply.

10.    Fees

I do not charge any fees for use of my models as parents. All I ask in return is a photograph of the resulting offspring for my records. It is also great to hear how the offspring does!

11.    Breeding Request Limits

At the present time there is no limit to the amount of breeding requests I accept.

12.    Queries

If you have any queries regarding this list, please email me. I'm usually online every day so you should receive a swift response.
