Badia Chestnut Mare, foaled 1884 by Aziz ex Mumtaza (Gharran I-Shohba) Bred by: Ali Pasha Sherif, Cairo, Egypt Strain: Dahmeh Nejiba Registrations: EGYPT #120 / GSB #103 Purchased by the Blunts from Ali Pasha Sherif for £70 in January 1897 and exported to Crabbet the same year. Reportedly given away to R Gregory in 1903. Produced one known foal by Mahruss II which broke a front leg and was destroyed as a foal. Known Offspring: 1899: c (destroyed) by Mahruss II |
