Balis Grey Mare, foaled 1902 by Seyal ex Bukra (Ahmar-Bozra) Bred by: Lady Anne Blunt, Crabbet Stud Strain: Seglawieh Jedranieh Registrations: GSB #419 / AHSB #17 After the partition of the stud in 1906, she was retained by Lady Anne Blunt. Acquired by Mr HVM Clark for Courthouse Stud, she was later purchased by D Aldridge, Leicestershire around 1920. She won prizes in the showring including Reserve Arab Mares class at the Royal Agricultural Show, Derby in 1921. She produced no known registered purebred offspring. Known Offspring: None |
