Hamida Chestnut Mare, foaled 1908-1928 By Daoud ex Hilmyeh (Ahmar-Bint Helwa) Bred by: Lady Anne Blunt, Crabbet Stud Strain: Seglawieh Jedranieh Stood: 14.3 hands Registrations: GSB #536 / AHSB #41 / AHR #509 She changed hands a number of times, being purchased initially from Crabbet in 1913 by Mr CW Laird who only bred Anglo Arab foals from her. In 1919 she was purchased by Mr George H Ruxton for his stud. Purchased with her foal Hama by Mr SG Hough in 1921, she was sold by him to WR Brown along with Hama and exported to the USA in 1923. She died in 1928.
