Meshura Bay Mare, foaled 1875-1899 By a Managhi Hedruj stallion ex a Seglawieh Jedranieh mare Bred by: Sheykh Berghi Ibn ed Derri of the Resallin tribe of the Sebaa Anazeh Strain: Seglawieh Jedranieh Stood: 14.1 hands Registration: GSB #18 Purchased at a high price by Ali Pasha Sherif in 1879 for whom she bore no foals, she was purchased by the Blunts in Aleppo in April 1881 and exported to Crabbet in the same year. A versatile mare standing 14.1 hands, she was broken to harness and regularly driven. A half sister to Pharaoh, she died in 1899.
