Shafreyn Chestnut Stallion, foaled 1954-1983 By Royal Diamond ex Sharfina (Rytham-Sharima) Bred by: Lady Wentworth, Crabbet Stud Strain: Kehailan Dajani Stood: 15.3 hands Registrations: GSB #1670 / AHSB #2065 / AHSA #161 Purchased by Mrs ADD Maclean for Fenwick Stud, he was exported to Australia in 1956. He became a truly outstanding sire. A striking individual standing 15.3 hands with a white face and extremely long stockings, he was famous as one of the foundation sires of top endurance horses in Australia. He won many prizes in the showring including 1st and Reserve Champion Stallion at Sydney Royal 1956, 1957 and 1964 and 1st and Champion Stallion at Melbourne Royal 1957 and 1958. He died in 1983.
