Silver Gilt Grey Mare, foaled 1943-1975 By Indian Gold ex Silver Fire (Naseem-Somra) Bred by: Lady Wentworth, Crabbet Stud Strain: Hamdanieh Simrieh Registrations: GSB #1162 / AHSB #1476 Pensioned and given by Mrs Grace Covey to Mrs DM Campbell for Underriver Arabian Stud, Kent when Crabbet was disbanded in 1971, she is widely acknowledged to be one of the greatest broodmares of the post war era at Crabbet. She had a beautiful head with large eyes and was regarded by many as the most beautiful daughter of Silver Fire. She produced 13 live foals and died aged 32 in 1975.
