	Spindrift Grey Stallion, foaled 1957-1978 By Silver Drift ex Silver Grand (Grand Royal-Silver Gilt) Bred by: Lady Wentworth, Crabbet Stud Strain: Hamdani Simri Stood: 15.0 hands Registrations: GSB #1800 / AHSB #2429 / AHSA #239 Purchased by Mrs M Leicht and exported to Australia in 1959, he was purchased by the Queensland Agricultural College in 1963. He won many prizes in the showring including Reserve Champion at the Royal Sydney Show in 1960 and 1961. An impressive horse standing 15.0 hands, he was the only Silver Drift offspring to enter Australia. He sired more than 70 purebred foals and died of a heart attack in 1978.
